When you think about adding jewelry to your wedding attire for both the Bride and Bridal Party, consider adding a "touch" of sparkle or bling. Now, there is a fine line between TASTEFUL and TACKY, so be cautious when selecting jewelry pieces. When done right, most know the proper jewelry accents can make an already fabulous dress or suit ultra glamorous.
For groomsmen, consider a tie clip and/or cuff links in jewel tones that match your bridal colors. For bridesmaids, consider a wide dress ban, sparkling bracelet or jeweled ribbon and/or belt around the dress. Some variation in pieces would also make an interesting approach to jazzing up the attire (i.e., hair clip for one bridesmaid, bracelet for another, long strand of faux pearls for the other, etc.). Accent pieces will add a special touch to most formal wear, BUT also look great when the bridal party is photographed. It's a great way to make outfits "pop" in pictures (and in person).
To make sure you're not OVER doing it, I would suggest you buy a few "test" pieces and photograph with the outfit. If it shows to flashy in the picture, it will be wayyyy too flashy in person. Also, it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion --just don't ask too many folks. Remember, it's your wedding. Make a statement--tastefully--with a little bling!
